Just before Christmas, we conducted a survey in my constituency, where there were more than 700 job vacancies. People from Swansea are as welcome to take up those job vacancies as people from anywhere else in the country.

The purpose of the Job Club is to help give support to those who are out of work whilst they are unemployed and to do everything possible to get them back into the world of work just as quickly as possible.

Employment Minister Chris Grayling has said that the Government is looking at the experience of the Banbury and Bicester Job Clubs to see how Work Clubs can be developed throughout the country in areas affected by unemployment.
