Sir Tony appointed Chairman of St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace

1 April 2015

Sir Tony Baldry, who has retired as Member of Parliament for Banbury, has been elected Chairman of St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace in place of Richard Millar who has retired after 12 years as a Trustee.

Sir Tony said “I have long admired the valuable contribution of St Ethelburga’s to the field of reconciliation and I look forward to working with the team to promote its activities.”

St Ethelburga’s Centre was established when the medieval St Ethelburga’s Church in Bishopsgate, City of London, was rebuilt following its partial destruction by an IRA bomb in 1993.
